I will be going down to Panamá in October to help VIDA (Volunteers Involved in Development Abroad) in a health care project on the San Blas Islands where I served my LDS Mission. On the island of Irgandi, access to a health facility during the rainy season is not possible. Many children and adults die unnecessarily for lack of medical care. Please click on the last image to read more about the story of Irgandi and our mission. I NEED YOUR HELP. We are seeking donations to fund the project. We have 12 volunteers for the trip and the cost is $1,000-$1,500 per person. VIDA is a 501 c 3 organization, so every donation is tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt shortly after your donation is received.
I know these people personally. They live in poverty. Please help us relieve some of their suffering and give anything you can! Your donation is greatly appreciated. To donate you can email me (bcarkell@yahoo.com), call (801-487-6782) or mail a check (call for my address). Please click on the last image for more information. Thanks for all your help. We will be in Panama October 10-18th. If any of you are interested in coming with us, let me know!

To the left is their bathroom (while in Panama, we will also be building latrines to reduce the amount of disease the people encounter with their current poop in the ocean system)

100% of your money will help these kids
